My only advice on stacking (regardless of which PM) is that you look after your daily/monthly/annual needs first.  There's no point buying and stacking PM if you hit a financial road bump, and then forced to sell the metal at a loss.   So this means taking care of rent/mortgage/utilities/retirement plan/health plan/etc first.   And then have enough cash savings on hand in the bank - just in case you get laid off from work, and you need cash to pay your bills.   So anywhere from 3-6 months of your salary.   Then if you got any extra money left, you can then consider buying some silver or gold.   Good luck!

Hi, everyone, guys, gals and whatever!
 
I'd like to share with you, my friends, my experience after I have upgraded my premium membership from Silver to Platinum Plus.
I have had my Silver membership from beginning (October 2020) and I have been very happy all the time with what this offered to me: instantly access to see on Buy/Sell section, the right to sell what I wanted to with a lot of pictures, the right to see and comment almost everywhere on forum, a limited number of emojis, etc. The price of £5.99/month was very attractive and I was sure that I will never change my membership until two weeks ago, when something happened and changed my mind.
Two weeks ago, it was a kind of flash in my mind, when I have decided to do more for this lovely forum. Why? Because I can, I want to and I love this forum from the deeps of my heart! After I have joined here, I have learned a lot from other members, I have shared my knowledge and I have felt included in a real community. I have gained new friends, I have had fun, I have made good profits with my sales, I have bought in a safe manner a lot of silver and gold items. I can not even imagine one day without opening TSF page. 
The Silver Forum is the safest place for buying and selling precious metals, it is a lovely and friendly community always happy to offer informations and the efforts made by @ChrisSilver and his professional team of moderators should be highly appreciated. My only one tool to show my appreciation is to pay monthly a little more than I was thinking before to help growing this lovely forum. I am not an expert, so I can only guess the monthly expenses for having online fully functional such a forum.
I would like to encourage more members to upgrade their membership to Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus to keep this forum rolling. The difference per year is not noticeable for individuals who use to spend on a monthly basis @500-£1000 for precious metals, but all together we can support TSF to grow steady and healthy. 
Please, feel free to comment on here your opinion about your premium membership, with pro's and contra's. Will not be a debate, I'd like only to be a place for sharing good experiences on this forum. Personally I think a unique code should be generated for signed mail and electronically sent to the recipient either via SMS or email. OTP services are a dime a dozen, so all this really requires is a bit of integration and the collection of one additional item of information about the recipient. 
 
That code isn’t known to the postman and is unique to the individual parcel. That code gets entered on the device we typically sign today, as the recipients unique e-signature. If the code is wrong, the parcel isn’t delivered. It’s pretty much what we’re used to doing for banking already. If the recipient gives the code to a family member, friend, neighbour etc, that’s fine, but that’s at their own risk. 
 
The only downside I see to a solution like this would be the additional time to deliver the package. People would inevitably not be ready with the code, so it would maybe add 30 seconds on average to the drop off time on signed mail. That would add up when you consider the amount of signed mail that must be delivered daily.

Really interesting business decision by APMEX to have such limited mintage. I didn't get mine and it makes me question whether I should get in the series. I feel like they would have been better off by doubling the mintage of 1 oz, and doing 2,000 5 oz coins. It's their business but it seems like they could have made more federal reserve notes with a slightly larger mintage.

I'm lucky I got in early on the 5oz coins.  I bought two, flipped one for basically 0 profit after shipping and eBay fees.  Having said all of that, I definitely plan on getting the rest of the 1oz. coins in the series but I'm done with paying ginormous premiums on "low mintage coins" like the 5 oz. version.  I'm into my stack for the silver, not so much the numismatic value.  Other than the Queen's Beast series, which I intend to fill out with the last 2, 2 oz coins when they come out, my stack is mainly junk silver and generics, with some lower premium coins mixed in.... and then my 5 oz. overpriced hunk of silver lol.   

I got onboard too late to get the 1 oz. coins, but took a flyer and picked up a 5oz'r just because I liked the design so much.  As far as what the future holds, I think it's too early to tell.  I think the idea of the "black flag" series is interesting and I'll wait to see what they announce for the future releases.  If it looks like it'll have some staying power, then I'm sure the initial coins will get another bump as renewed interest comes back.  I did see that Apmex shows a few 5 oz. coins still available but don't know if they held back some inventory or maybe got some through buy-backs.
