I've just ordered myself a Devil Forge on ebay and to pour myself a few ingots of copper and brass for fun. I would be interested in buying some scrap copper if anyone can sourse some cheap? I wouldn't be interested in insulated wire though, impossible to strip without the proper machine.

    A bit of fun.

For the next large TSF prize draw to advertise and bring awareness of the forum, which will be in around a month or two. Should we double the prize and have 2x 5oz silver bars up for grabs, 2 different winners each winning a 5oz silver bar. If you think we should then like this post.

If this post gets 100+ likes we will give away 2x 5oz silver bars. (I have set this target deliberately low so that it is easily obtainable)

If this post reaches 200+ likes, we will add a small bonus

Keep in mind Royal Mail will only pay you out what you paid for the coin if it gets lost. For example £250 for the two ounce silver three graces and not the market value of £1800 - £2500 even if you insure it for £2500.

When you fill in the NGC form don’t worry too much about getting it perfect. If you don’t tick the right box they will spot this and amend for you. Just bear in mind if there are further fees that you are ready to pay them! Pop into the London office (make an appointment) and they can help you check through it. There are bound to be mistakes if this is your first time etc so just don’t be too worried!!
Long and short it needs to be an extra thick not oversized. So tick that box. The usual slabs are too thin and you would risk the coin rubbing against the inside of the slab.
Oh and don’t forget that it’s fair market value that is important NOT what you paid. So the 3G 2oz will be in the up to £2.5k category and the 5oz will be in the up to £7.5k category.
Happy grading you lucky 3G owners!!

I am going to send my 2 ounce silver off for grading to ngc myself on Monday. Could anyone please advise me on section 7 of the fillable pdf, do you select NGC Oversize Holder (Tier + $20)? and do I select early release or first release?  Many thanks.

Please anyone with anything three graces just HODL until the first few graded pf70 have set the stage. Honestly. If the demand is there and.nowts up for sale demand will only increase. Nice to get X10 on your cash but theres no reason why it will be still worth X10 or many multiples more.in months/year to come. You'll thank me for it in long run

You need to select the extra thick holder. And the first release, if you want that( but this is just an option)

I've ordered hundred of coins from the mint and have never paid attention after I've made payment. They just arrive. Now we can't work out if we have all had our orders canceled or this is normal or whats happening.

Yes. I think if the postal store have a branch near you it could be delivered there. They will even bring it over the border and deliver it to your home after. I think its €12 to use their address in the south. You can collect it or have it delivered to you for extra.

Am I correct in thinking that those of us residing in Northen Ireland can still buy silver vat free from the likes of the European mint?
