We are on the same boat Paul and I have the same idea about this set It was possible to secure the 2oz gold but I have to calm down sometimes , especially with the GE gold set, the Sovereign 5 coin set , several full Sovereign, and certainly the SOTD

I decided to take the plunge for this set (along with the £5 gold), my AM called me today and had one available, so not too much time for the reflection. I hope this is a good bet for the future, with the GC set, this is a lot of money invested

Happy New Year everyone I saw it and could get one, but I'm not too confident. What bothers me is all these variations and mintages, I would have preferred at least a 2oz gold with a mintage below 100 ... it's a lot of money to gamble, even more with the ongoing investment in the GE 2oz gold set. However, I took the plunge with the £5 gold plain edge, and think the risk is (maybe) more limited and a longer term bet. (wishful thinking ) Mintage 400 nevertheless 😐

RRP is £2515 but I got it without VAT for £2095, I hope to pass through french customs (it happens sometimes)but last orders received from the RM were all taxed only at 5,5%, instead of 20%...I don't know why, however I did not put a claim to French Customs 😄

I have managed to get a silver kilo and i am eagerly waiting for it and having in hand will be probably awesome I am not sure the kilo is a good performer as the 2ozs, but it is still a safe bet imho. Did anybody consider getting these kilos ? It would be interesting to know opinions

Thank you for posting,. As Paul stated, it's a little bit down but the Una seems to perform relatively well with time, even in raw. The 3G seems to have reached a good base price around the £17k mark on the last few auctions. Not a bad investment for sure. I have been unfortunate with the Gothic Crown this morning (I only got the 2oz silver) , so I hope that my AM will have some good surprise for me. Does someone has received a call to confirm and pay for the 2oz gold PE ?
