  1. That's thing I'm not to sure about, £300. Now is that spot. the price you paid overseas, the price it would have been in the UK, the price without VAT or even face value?
  2. I can't seem to find limit of the amount of silver being able to bought in to the UK without tax. But which I mean British coins, Brits, Beasts and the like. Is there minimum, one Brit and you have to pay 20% VAT on it? Or something like 25? I can understand 100's, but yet is there an allowance like there is on fags and wine? I'm not talking about posting but bringing in, in person. Type about this for a bit😁
  3. £3,000 sounds a bit low, more like £3,300 at least. However maybe best to hold off for a few months the price is unlikely to go down very much, and IMHO go up by around £1 an ounce
  4. No 1/2 oz then, seems silly if there is a 1/10 and 1/4.
  5. What are the bullion Brit sizes normally available in the UK, is it just the 1 oz? I've seen 1/10 and 1/4 oz sizes for sale here but nothing from dealers in the UK. There is this in the US https://www.jmbullion.com/2021-10-oz-british-silver-britannia-coin/ Again not seen this size in the UK. Am I missing something or am I just thick?
  6. Would this be from only one dealer, if so there's not much point. Quite easy to walk to a few dealers in London and buy 10 Sovs from each and pay cash. There's £10,000 gone in one afternoon.
  7. Now missing only one. Anyone got a 62 they are willing to part with?
  8. Used to, for luck. Turned out all the luck it gave me was bad!
  9. A 58 and a fiver for a 62? Sorry, should have said 6 quid.
  10. No idea why, there were 3,000,000 minted
  11. Yep, see now reason why not. The only one I wish to have now is a 1962. Multi 58's 66'68's but not one 62.
  12. I'm not one for grading, much more of a stacker, yet. I have noticed the a very small number or Gillick head sov's are above MS 65. Of course it's unlikely I have one. There are quite a few that are MS 64 and 65, still not many. It seems you can pick up a 1925 more easy than a 58-68, at MS65/66. Is it worth grading a Gillick head as the population is low, if so how much more could they sell for verses the cost of the grading? Over to you.

  14. It's all well and god to try to think of the design of the 2022 Sov will be. However what would you, if in charge what it to be? I'd like a Gillick head, shield back. Maybe worthy of it's own tread?
  15. The crown went to Ernest Augustus, Victoria's uncle and younger brother of George IV.
  16. As it looks like your in London, have walk down to Balwins or Sharps Pixey. You can see the coins and save on postage. Have had dealings with both and they are helpful too.
  17. Think that a bloke called James Richards is the top bloke at Fedex in the UK. Also think it costs £35 to serve court papers for small claims and name him. Of course being me, I well be wrong on both counts.
  18. Have to book? Have to book?? I can get there easy enough, well a whole 15 minutes on push bike. If I can I'll film and bung it on Youtube
  19. Nashville Telecaster and Italia 12 Back on topic next?
