  1. I have done kilos before! Here's one sat on my desk right now!
  2. Howdy all! Been getting a few private messages about this so thought I would just make a quick post about schedules for 2024 releases. Normally we would have the 1 oz bars ready by about this time of year - and to be fair they are all manufactured but I am going to be releasing them in June. The reason for this is I am shifting how I work. I am trying to get ALL production for our annual products done in the first half of this year. This allows me more time to focus on the delivery of the projects when they are done. Shipping out all the bars to customers takes a lot of time and it often is all consuming. So, for now I am working away creating all the forum products for 2024 based on the following scheule: Silver Forum Products 1 oz forum bars (250 mintage): Release June 100g forum bars (175 mintage): Release Late August 1oz, 3oz and 5oz forum rounds (50, 75 & 25 mintages): Release November BYB annual products 1 oz BYB bars (100 mintage): Release June 100g BYB Bars (25 mintage): Release Late August Interested in getting some of our products? Just comment on this thread, or watch out for my future posts on the subject!
  3. I just bought a gold coin from Apmex last week and delivered this week. I got a call from UPS asking for my email address so they could send a form for me to sign as a declaration that the contents are investment gold and therefore exempt of tax and duty. Signed it, emailed it and coin delivered with zero fees or taxes. However, Fedex (sometimes used by Apmex) charged me tax on a £2k gold order last year and I had to claim that back with HMRC as they were just not listening to me to get it sorted. In that situation I got the tax back but the £18 fedex handling fee was not reimbursed.
  4. You should try selling to the royal mint, they would happily charge £245 per coin in that condition. Beautiful coins and history and nice price, good luck with the sale!
  5. My Experience Buying SILVER From The Perth Mint to UK @ThePerthMintAustralia
  6. Royally Screwed Again Historic Coin Prices Still Very High!
  7. The thing that annoys me is that despite having direct contact with the mint Press office they are not going to put any formal communication out via their newsletter or on the product listings to say that the series is paused. All they will tell me is that it is under review and when a decision is made they will communicate it.
  8. Really? I chose 6 companies that I have personally bought from. I chose only 6 because I didnt want to sit there for days colating the data. This is not a definitive list, deal with it.
  9. I mean, honestly. This is just so bloody bad. These coins you can literally buy by the kilo. They need 100 for this collection. They couldn't find a better picture?
  10. I went through the spink guide too, best total I can come up with is about £135 and that's for "fine" prices (spink doesn't give prices for lower than fine). Most of these coins conditions are described as "circulating"
  11. Best Bullion Deals in the UK: Price Comparison of Top Dealers in 2024!
  12. 9 of these in a row would be freaking awesome for this!
  13. You flat out accused me of bias....how else was it meant to be interpreted? Whatever, watch the video later today at 5pm and then pass all the judgement you like.
  14. You would think so...but I was just called out on this marvelous forum by someone because they think I did this to bias Atkinsons...
  15. I have never heard of UK bullion. I will include them next time. When/if you watch my video later you will understand why I used these 6 companies. But, shouting at somone on the internet is the best course of action of course.
  16. This has nothing to do with this video. They sponsored me for one video....ask them, its only one sponsored slot so far! Why so agressive?
  17. Interesting price comparison for dealers Royal Mint really not coming off well at all!
  18. Did a little price comparison this morning, these are my findnings based off £1800 spot price
  19. THE FOLLOWING IS NOT FORMAL TAX ADVICE, but my own interpretation of the rules. Thats assuming you make that much profit per bar. Its the profit on the capital not the total value that makes a difference. If you bought 100x 1g bars at £55 each and sold them all for £65 each you make £1000 profit and do not have to even declare the gain as it is below the threshold. If you had 100x 1g bars bought for £35 a few years ago and sold them for £75 each then that would be a £4000 gain. You would need to declare it and you would pay tax on the £1000 above the allowance.
