  1. Found these might not be the quality you are after. Keyring and watch seemed to be good search terms. Looks like u could attach a keyring bezel or similar to a chain/necklace. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155095891223
  2. I don't let my wife know how much I'm spending either 🀣
  3. Closest I could find. The reverse designs really seem to stick out because all the coins I have found with the obverse side have the standard eagle. Definitely an interesting piece and probably rather rare.
  4. I don't know but from what I've seen probably a commemorative medal probably a private mint and possibly silver plated. Maybe someone else with some experience can add some more.
  5. Found a fair few if very similar coins but mostly with the standard eagle or eagle on a branch. Some have combed hair some wavey like yours. Didn't find any with the same images as yours. Key words seem to be medal, commemorative, assassination. Also found a fair few with links back to the Paris mint like this one https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/jfk-rfk-kennedy-brothers-1944745713 The one on the left holds the presidential seal as on the half dollar. Couldn't find anything on the crossed axes. Similar coin https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374069097669?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=374069097669&targetid=1405282543879&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=1007092&poi=&campaignid=17218284410&mkgroupid=142217514411&rlsatarget=pla-1405282543879&abcId=9300867&merchantid=9324144&gclid=Cj0KCQiA1ZGcBhCoARIsAGQ0kkpBHX104L0CvmCt7G7LK-6AwVmOnoNl3M9jFPGlTJ1_YR10uAk3BogaAqsPEALw_wcB Coin 1 and 3 look to have some stamp perhaps?
  6. From the ones I've looked at they all appear to be Sterling silver and less than an Troy ounce. Would be interesting to know the original price back in 1980s though.
  7. I feel we need a weekly silver detective series.
  8. Could try the old rub a pencil or crayon on a piece of paper to get the impression. It's a long shot but never know.
  9. Bovril reminds me of going thr match with my dad.
  10. Perhaps a mini series Netflix or prime.... If your really lucky BYB collaboration Ep1 The beast behind the bullion Ep2 Building a business made of gold Ep3 Get Rich or die tryin, running a bullion business in Britian Ep4 Lawence Smaugs private collection And so on
  11. Thanks a lot will definatly have a listen
  12. Thanks will take a look
  13. Looking for a good podcast that covers gold and silver, mostly silver and preferably UK. I wouldn't mind a good American one but the ones I've come across are typically eccentric and talk a lot about the government taking you cash, the death of fiat etc or cater too much to how the market is setup in the USA. Thanks

  15. Not precious but if u have any special Β£2 coins should fit good
  16. You should give them a go, can't believe u havent heard of the legendary mythical being known as Lawencious Vhardonious. Some say he is part royalty, part jester, part sportsman and just the right amount of crude.....you should get on really well πŸ˜‰.
  17. I was hoping to have one for every year but that may switch to Perth's or Philomonics. It was the mint who I returned it too so I don't know if they are generally more accepting with their mad premiums but I don't see how they can justify a brilliant uncirculated description with that standard.
  18. I have looked at the Digi gold at Chards with the option to use ur ounces to buy physical sounds good but need to do some research first.
  19. I'm collecting out of interest for now not at stacking level yet, don't know if I will be. Worryingly I'm still waiting on a silver proof from the mint so I'm dreading that arrival now. My Germania Fenrir was beautiful might just have to avoid the mint going forward, undecided. Think I paid about Β£34 got a proof, a sovereign and some commerative bits and don't think I paid for postage, but I could have saved a tenner at vhards, thi k they were Β£24 at the time so probably go there in future. Maybe go in person don't live too far away, could make day trip.
  20. I'd like to go around the world and ahve a bit of variety, I've heard only good things about Perth so they might become my staple.
  21. Hi all, New to the game, got my first Brit big gouge in it (returned), got my second with what I assume are milk spots, so will try for another return. Was so excited for my first silver coins and day dreaming of the plans ahead. Now I just wonder why bother. Is this just a really unlucky start or par for the course? I like collecting the silver because it is collectable, but if it's plenty of tarnished hopes and dreams I'll just pack it in and stick my money in 1 a year pieces of gold.
  22. Don't forget Argentina, they just introduced a 25% foreign exchange tax to keep people on the peso. Now there's a black market for foreign currency. They never recovered from the Latin America debt crisis and a strong dollar is taking them back there.
