So did this person have something worth mentioning? If it is from the second half of the last century I might be of help.

I would not be interested, reminds me of "shill" bidding. Its a tactic where a seller tries to extract the highest price you will pay via a method of fake bids. Personally I would not buy in this way to start with but would reject the offer.

How do you know they are all genuine bidders and not part of a circle to catch unsuspecting gullible players ?
What gold are we talking about ?  If they are .999 fine gold, then this is investment gold and should not subject to import tax.
If I were you, I would walk away and buy from either reputable local bullion dealers.

Three lovely Gillicks. Nom nom nom
Woo hoo on Sunday I did my first purchase here on The SilverForum and a very good experience it was too. And Monday this week @brnlx639 sent to me not one, not two, but three lovely Gillicks dated '66,'67,'68. And very nice they are too, all glittery and golden and in the exact condition described.
Here are some pix, albeit iPhone specials. I didn't have time to get arty and get my proper camera out. But the pix do show off the lovely sovereigns and their lovely golden glow.

The Mintage was 2000 and not as quoted 1000.
You could only buy 2 Proof Kook and now they’ve sold out, so I haven’t got a clue what they’ll be worth. I just loved the coins and not for investment. The HR Tiger is the best.

For a "reasonable" price you already have an interested party for your spare "cook". But I guess they are highly sought after and the premium was already raised from last year.

    From the Perth Mint.
Not your normal Gold haul but the Quality, colour of Quokka+Kookaburra and high relief of the Lunar is fantastic. My photo skills do not do them justice.
The spare Kook will be for sale eventually of a limited 2000 Mintage.
Really blown away considering they’re just 1oz silver.

With Paulmerton giving some (much needed) love to the Euro coins a bit earlier I felt I couldn't stay behind. P.S. A proof 2,5 en 10 Portuguese Euro coin.....without paperwork unfortunately. Sometimes the difference on Portuguese coins is (like the Isle of Man's coins from the late 70's and 80's) hard to tell but I am pretty sure these 2 are. What does everyone here think?

Hello dear collector friends, it was just once again the toy fair in Nuremberg after 2 years of Corona break. Here I show a beautiful silver medal on the subject from 1974. I think it is very nicely made. Best regards from Maxe.

Thanks for your reply. I did receive a confirmation on placing the order. I had not received a confirmation on the payment nor could I find the status of the order in my account. It said I had no outstanding orders. Hence the confusion on my part. They have responded that they are still waiting on some coins from the Pressburg Mint that were on pre-order when I ordered and that everything else is fine. So now I am back (but this time more confidently) in waiting mode.

Hade the same problem here. Ordered and payed for a couple of tubes of regular bullion coins in the last few days before 30th of June. Didnt here anything from them so when the fourth weekend since I placed my order had started I emailed them regarding this. And just a couple of hours later my order was sent out to me with UPS Express. Hope this info is to some use for you

    Hi
I made a few orders with them, all OK.
I think they rely on another dealer, they take your order but they don't have the coins actually.
Of course is nothing wrong with this type of business and if you don't mind waiting 1 month for your order is no difference like to buy from somewhere else.
    Regards
  24. Thanks

I received my last package (all the coins were in stock when making the order) on the 27 of July, exactly one month after making the payment.
Never had problems with them, sadly the long waiting period is something that didn't disappear after march 2020

The four silver ones are 5 euro coins from Italy.
    - 5 euro 2012 monetary union unification is FDC or BU.
    - 5 euro 2013:
obverse is the temple "E" of Selinunte, dedidated to Hera
reverse is a metope detail of temple "C" of Selinunte, representing the myth of Perseus and the Medusa
    The coin is proof
    - 5 euro 2015:
obverse is a view of Perugia from the fresco "First translation of the body of St. Ercolano from the place of first burial to the church of St. Peter" by Benedetto Bonfigli for the Chapel of the Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia
reverse is a detail of the fresco with the Sibyls of the Sala delle Udienze of the Collegio del Cambio in Perugia by Perugino
    The coin is proof.
    - 5 euro 2016:
obverse is the courtyard of honour of the 16th century villa Cicogna Mozzoni at Bisuschio in the province of Varese
reserve are the double flight water stairs of 156 steps from the lion's fountain to the nymphaum standing on top of a hill maintained as a park. In the background are details from Renaissance frescoes featuring wild beasts.
    This coin is also proof.

The golden coins are 1/100 oz from the pope series from Guinea and they are "really" small. So they don't photograph well and while I don't have any problems with touching and handling 1 kg bars (of silver) these small coins simply feel "fragile" to me and I try to avoid handling them as much as possible.

The point was that I have never seen "paper inside" the capsule but I understand how it can avoid "rubbing" the capsule during transport. But if it is practical during transport would it be harmful if I let stay in there now as some kind of "extra" protection?
Regarding the gold coin I have seen opened capsules and broken capsules after opening a package but never one where the capsule is still "intact" but where the coin has moved but is stuck in their current position.

I am leaning towards leaving the gold coin where it is as it is not moving now. I know for the OCD people out there that that makes no sense but the main goal of the capsule for me is that it holds the coin (safely) and although out of place it is kind of doing that now. Regarding the paper I am still a bit on the fence but I think I will remove it permanently.
