No obvious impairments; there is just some discolouration where the ‘matte’ proofing on the coin looks like it may have weared.

I bought this cracking little half sov from a well known dealer here on the Forum earlier this year. I graded it and both the seller and I were surprised that it came back from NGC as AU58; it should be higher as a MS holder in our views but there you go. I’ve decided not to re-submit it and I’m now moving it on from my collection. I’m asking £1350 +post which is the same price I paid for it raw so the grading & photovision pics effectively come in for free. Any queries please PM, many thanks.

These are not actually LMU spec coins but as its been referred to on this excellent thread before, here is the Montenegro 20 Perpera gold coin. There are 2 versions of this denomination. On the left, the commemorative issue coin to mark the 50 Anniversary of the Accession of King Nicola 1. Left facing laureate head portrait. On the right, the standard circulation 20 Perpera distinguished by a right facing, bare head portrait. Reported mintages of both coins c. 30,000. These are not in the finest condition but both coins are very hard to find now in any condition.
