Yes it came in an envelope with a picture on it. I was just about to look for it and the missus has put both in the recycling 🙄 I better go and try to rescue them

Agree that the 2016 Lion was an excellent start to the QB series and was the reason I started collecting. The Seymour Panther doesn't do it for me like the Lion.  Should I get a 1Oz silver proof just in case the series gets better....🤔

If you think about the queens beasts the lion was the first and is one of the most popular designs ever. As a first design to a series i think this coin is lacking. I think thats why there’s still gold proofs available. If i do get one it will be gold bullion so will avoid the hype for now but will be a potential gainer should the series gain traction

If there is a Q&A can you ask them if they intend on employing any quality assurance for this series? Unless the milk spots on the QB series are supposed to represent bird sh*t on the statues....

I'll probably collect them as there is nothing else at the moment that takes my fancy in modern coins unless the designs are absolutely dire. But IMHO the RM did a very good job with the QB series so I'd guess they will not want to kill the golden goose so to speak.

Somehow i would like to see Jody Clark as the designer of this series again. But it would also be really interested to see another designers interpretation of the overlapping beasts. And i can't wait to see @Howie's proof gold set of all the Tudor's Beasts.😎

I may be wrong but I believe the Royal Dragon from the Tudor Beasts is the same as the Red Dragon of Wales (the Welsh Dragon) from the Queen’s Beasts.
So it is 6 overlapping beasts.
The different ones are the 3 Seymour Beasts and the Tudor Dragon. 

Hmm...🤔 five overlapping beasts... guess we would have to see the designs to decide...

There are ten statues of heraldic animals, called the King's Beasts, that stand on the bridge over the moat leading to the great gatehouse. Unlike the Queen's Beasts in Kew Gardens, these statues represent the ancestry of King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. The animals are:

2. the Seymour Lion
3. the Royal Dragon
4. the Black Bull of Clarence
5. the Yale of Beaufort
6. the White Lion of Mortimer
7. the White Greyhound of Richmond
8. the Tudor Dragon
9. the Seymour Panther
10. the Seymour Unicorn.
Quite of a few of the beasts are the same as the Queen’s Beasts. I suppose they will have different depictions for the new series. I’m also curious who the designer will be.

I am pretty sure this will be a popular series as long as the designs are good.

There are a few things I would have done differently when collecting the Queens Beast series. This a good second chance to do it right, so long as the designs are good as Dicker said

Personally, I would’ve liked to have collected the entire set of the Brilliant Uncirculated coins.

I'm not collecting the platinum series myself but if there's a completer I will get one! 

If I were in charge of the mint there would be!  I’m not sure if they will, but if they do I would assume they stick with the same pattern and release it with the 10oz silver.
