What are the product codes? -
Let's keep this thread alive and as speculation increases we can track here. I'd love just best guesses at this point... who's the next best engraver after Mr. Wyon?
-
Can someone that has been following the whole thread link or remind those of us that pop in and out where the speculation is for the next Great Engraver after William Wyon? I remember seeing a couple posts of some good speculation but can't find them again despite searching. What's the top speculation right now?
-
There was a thread or comment somewhere on the forum that made some good educated guesses. I'm trying to find it and found this thread instead, lol. Anyhow, someone has commented on it that has some insight.

Picked up the max limit of all coins, but unsure what will actually end up for sale and which ones will be vaulted. Based on past RM experience, I do expect several to re-appear for sale on the RM site, so keep checking, pretty sure they are not sold out, at least not of the high mintage ones. There's plenty of reason for RM to catch their breath before selling more

Great Engravers - Gothic Crown - Sneak Preview?
MintCollectionsImports replied to LawrenceChard's topic in Gold
Hey, out of California here. I saw earlier you were having currency issues on the RM site. You likely have set yourself up for USD under the bullion (investment) side of Rm. They run it like a completely separate business. You'll want to create an account just for commemorative coins and pay by CC in GBP. Get a CC that will provide no fee international purchases, many do, but check that yours does, and then go purchase something small. It will save your card details and as long as no other bugs on the RM site, you'll be primed and ready to go with a saved card when it matters most on launch day. Feel free to post any more questions you have, happy to pass on what we've learned the hard way. Mostly, just enjoy the time zone difference and doing all this late as night as the Brits get to enjoy their morning launches and we're just waiting to go to sleep -
For those of you that don't check every day post a major launch, RM tends to sell out of the inventory they have loaded in their system for each day, then they load more the next morning or the next several days. If you missed out today, save the links so you can quickly check each day. We saw this with the Tudor Panther as 2 oz Proofs would sell out, then not sell out, then sell out, then come back. Quite the dance for the week following the launch. They do it to both create demand, and likely also manage their inventory sales in batches, which also allows their fulfillment side to not completely break in the days following. You imagine they potentially can sell out of any mintages that are 3 digits or even low four digits, but I don't believe they have sold out of a 10K mintage Sovereign. We'll be seeing that guy make a reappearance if recent history is any tell. So before you go pay too much, check the site out tomorrow morning and the next.

It does indeed look like we all forutnately got to the order page, ordered, and have secured orders. There's very little chance, next to none in my opinion, the Royal Mint would void a valid order #, and cancel your legitimate order. Nobody has done anything nefarious except legitimately get to the order page and give the Royal Mint your money for the new product. Congrats everyone, hope you got the sets and coins you wanted. We picked up one of each set, 2x half sovereigns, and 1x of the limited signed prints. This felt like a very successful and stress free launch.

Coins are starting to arrive. Fun fun. I ended up getting #oo6 for two coins! 10 oz Silver and 2 oz Gold. They both look awesome. @BackyardBullion posted pics of the 10 oz but here are some pics of the 2 oz gold in case you haven’t seen it in the wild yet. The size and clarity of the Panther is perfect.

We’ll you are not alone. I ended up getting just a single 1 oz Queen Beast coin in blister pack labeled with Trial docs. Figured not too $ to get some exposure to this line. It does not sound like the boxes come with any distinguishing call outs except extra handling

Thanks for starting the thread, I have some questions too. The Trial of the Pyx proof coins don't seem to have any documentation or proof they are Trial of the Pyx besides your receipt? Is that correct? No special COA or packaging or coin markings? - minus what sounds to be markings from abuse @BackyardBullion thanks for the investor advice, sounds about right.
