I think this has got to be my favourite silver coin ever!  He arrived today, and I just can't stop looking at him!  I normally avoid high premium coins, but I couldn't help myself for this one - my only regret is that I can't afford a whole tube of them!  😍

I do not mind the coin and I think having the leaves in the background and over the edge is a change from just having the writing and a blank background. I just hope the Royal Mint has better quality control with this one. I just think they could have chosen the subject matter better. The Royal Mint could have just stuck to the main character from the stories or has a separate coin series for each of the stories. With Robin Hood it bugs me that they are only doing Robin Hood, Maid Marian and Little John and not the other characters such as King John, Sheriff of Nottingham or Friar Tuck. There are also so many stories they could choose from and if they are doing multiple characters from the same story then we are not going to end up with a lot of different stories showcased. I also presume that King Arthur will be another series and there are a lot of good characters which could be made into coins in that series that most likely won't be represented in coin form. This series had so much potential and although I do not mind the coins so far I am underwhelmed with what the Royal Mint has come up with. Much like the Lunar Series. The series could have been a great hit but the series was severely lacking.

I like it. It's my first coin. Also ordered the robin hood one. I like the way the leaves overlap the edge. Target is maybe those who prefer a less orderly naturalistic scene.
 

I think the Isle of Man designs are better.  The quotations show that at least somone is familiar with the contents of the book! 

Yes, she was ”aware” of the books. It’s not as if they’ve sold over 100 million copies and spawned 8 film adaptations. I too am ”aware” of the books. Maybe get someone who’s actually interested in the subject matter to design the coins? Just a thought...

Many here keep the metal themselves. Particularly if you have gold it is very easy to hide if you think about it.
Gold and silver are money. They have been for thousands of years. If they weren't, they wouldn't be manipulated like they are. The economic and financial data in the last couple of days should send gold and silver much higher but you see them falling off a cliff. These are the desperate thrashings of a dying animal. 
Property and stocks are in general in a bubble. Many of them will blow up. The same goes for much of the crypto. It is a craze. If the crypto token isn't part of a proper business which is starting to or actually doing business, it will fizzle out. It is like the dot com boom - lots of ideas going nowhere and on close inspection they were half baked ideas.
When inflation takes off, then property will likely take off. We will have to see what happens when furlough finishes and reality kicks in.

Silver and gold will both shoot up in-line with what's being done by the WHO, WEF and fascist governments under Bill Gates & friends orders. 
Hyper-inflation is coming for most economies which are not raking it in from the fake pandemic, together with food shortages, poverty spikes and lockdown damages such as no healthcase, delayed healthcare and add in the vaccine damages - adverse effects and deaths and all the rest (in total reaching a millon cases soon in the UK alone, and only a few percent are ever reported or recorded).  Several commodities have hyper inflated already and continue to like pork and lumber.  Employment is only available at cult-linked and cult-benefiting companies so for most unemployment is a big problem.  These are just a few things going on in the world.  When currency becomes worthless and you have the likes of China (and more to follow) rolling out trackable digital currency then people will have nowhere to turn but to gold, silver, subsistence farming or bartering in order to trade without having everything monitored and controled by a cult. 
The cult has brought mortality rates back to 2010 levels by killing people with lockdowns (and blaming a "virus") and they will keep driving hard while they are winning, people will continue to lose more freedom and the poor-rich divide gap will continue to widen as people are further enslaved by things such as UBI - sucked up by the poor and in return they have to abide by the demands of the hands that feed them.  In view of this there may be a window to save "money" in gold and silver in the short to mid-term as it shoots up, but in the long term the governments and the cults above them will put an end to it because it is an "out" of their systems, just like they will put an end to cash money which can't be tracked and controled.  Also unless you have enough gold and silver to last a lifetime it's only going so far as you sell off an ounce for $200 for example one week to get a weeks food supplies then next week an ounce might get you $220 in FIAT but the price of the shopping has doubled so you need to sell 2 ounces for $440 to get a weeks food and so on... you will need a large stack to get you and your loved ones though life.

The WEF dictates no one should own anything, as a consumer you will only be allowed to rent things - property and vehicle ownership will end fully and everyone will need to submit fully to the cult narative and dystopia they have decided upon for you.  You will have no stack at this point, everything belongs to the cult, including your life.

I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place or worded poorly, over the past couple of years I have been melting metals and casting them and thought it would be cool to make a bar of silver. Assuming I have the scrap, is it possible to just make a bar and sell it as such in the future or is there a process to go through?
