    I don't know anywhere where someone would put an item being sold in their pocket. Especially in a retail setting. I've been in a dealers where they would only allow one item on the counter top at a time but the other items were put  either put on the shelf under the glass counter top in front of me or on a different occasion with a different customer, on the small unit behind them behind the counter. I hope you get something as an apology from them at least.

    Pretty sure I'd have said something the moment he picked it up and pocketed it.
    Also pretty sure the forum filters won't let me post what I'd have said.

    Awwww. I was told by appointment too. It's the way to go these days. You don't want Benedicto Del Toro turning up unannounced and jumping on your counter and waving a shooter around.
    I suppose you could have rung them up while you were outside the shop asking if they could fit you in. They can't be that busy. It's not like a book signing for Micheal Ball at WH Smiths. That was busy. Almost a dozen fans turned up 🤣

    Well I know that you have seen ‘them all before’ but I was fairly uninterested until I saw a beautiful photograph by @Charliemouse (I think).
    I showed it to Mr. A. and lucky me - he bought me a couple🥳🥳💛.

    I finally just got my a/c unlocked - 24 hours hard graft and 7 calls in total today - bl00dy absurd.
    Mind you, I don't think I helped my cause by telling one of the fraud team to look at Tavex on Trustpilot where they have a 9.4 = 94% approval rating and then saying now lets look at you;
    Oh dear, I'm sorry to tell you that your bank only have a rating on Trustpilot of 1.6 = 13% - do you really think your qualified to advise me on how to spend my own hard earned money - he hung up .....

    I pretty much just use a revolute card for internet purchases. I try to keep my personal bank separate at just let it do its thing. I once had a stopped payment on here and revolute cleared it within a couple of hours of filling in the info of the buyer. I never leave much money on the revolute as I use it as kind of a security barrier between my account and the world of potential dodgey.

    They will keep hiking rates till it hits about 7% and contradictory to it pushing the price of gold down it will do the opposite as people will wake up to real money. A weatherman told me ⛈️

    My son started selling a nice watch for me after I acquired a nice used Ltd edition Blancpain privately; but after 2 days of dubious questions & offers, I decided to just gift it to my grandson instead.

    It depends what they are. As long as its just plain old bullion then go for it. Handling them will mark them an accelerate toning, but it's not the end of the world. It may devalue them a little, but it's still silver at the end of the day.
    Have you considered a 'pocket piece' ? Most people have a coin or 2 which they keep for the purpose of scratching the itch you have! Just to play around with.
    If you are asking about proofs or particularly valuable coins then, no, don't take them out of the capsules.

    Ok, ill explain myself.
    There are 3 of us. Myself and 2 mates. We all collect silver and gold for future investment purposes. Occasionally we have an evening out at the local Indian restaurant. Its an evening with lovely food and drink. Usually we end up talking about PMs. Occasionally i may buy the odd coin in 3s and hand a couple out to my friends on these evenings. Just something i do.  Last time was 100 years of the BBC coins. Next time who knows.
    But thanks for your input. Ill make sure i dont put anything up in the future that cost me less than a fortnites wages👍
