Good to know you are thinking of the refining process. It is not easy but doable. A lot depends on how much time you have and your contacts too. To give you an idea of what's involved. You will have to find someone with the equipment, personnel and experience to melt the coins first. Then you will have to get the metal poured into raw sheets/cubes to get the lot assayed, this will then go for refining and from there you will have to process the lot into the grain (not to forget you will need someone with the environmental clearances to dispose of the slag).
This is the easy bit. From here you will decide on what sort of finish you want for the bars and ensure you transport the grain to a production house with the desired capability. To give you an idea of the costs for the manufacturing process. If you produce 1000 bars a day then you are looking at costs of £4.80 per bar + VAT to cast the grain into bars; else, the costs would be far too much to be economical. At this point, you will have the blanks.
Now for the easy bit, you will need to find someone to design your logo and engrave the casts. From there on it's a question of stamping and marketing. You can then pour the bars into a mould provided the design is not already hallmarked. These bars may then have to go to the assay office if you are keen on hallmarking. At each of these steps, you will be faced with transportation and insurance costs. Finally, don't forget that VAT is charged on silver. I have found it easier to buy grain in lots of 100 kgs (or the blanks even) and do what you want with it. There are opportunities at each step. The question is does one have the time.
To give you an example of the opportunities involved - just the refining element works as follows - your assayed bars reach the refiner, and he will charge you for refining the metal. Let us say you had 9-carat scrap gold you will get close 34.5% gold grain from it. The remaining 65.5% metal is not returned to you. On the contrary, you will pay for its waste disposal. This waste product will contain silver, copper, palladium/platinum (based on how old the jewellery is) and nickel. I have noticed often times the waste product is actually more expensive than the grains derived from the scrap. There are similar opportunities with the waste disposal too.................
If you are keen on the refining route there are players like Baird & Co and Mastermelt. They will need you to start a trade account (and ask for 2 references in the jewellery trade) and will help you with things. FYI Baird & Co will want you to have a company that is listed as being in the jewellery trade and will also not touch anything that is not a minimum of .8 silver so pre 47 coins won't cut it there. My sincere best wishes, keep  us posted on how it goes. All the best!!

Yes, selling counterfeit goods is illegal, and coins are a special case. Even owning or being in possession of counterfeit coins is technically illegal in the UK. I am not expert on the law, but believe there are "valid reason" defences.
Passing counterfeit goods including coins of as genuine is a separate offence in its own right. Again there are defences. Most of the Chinese fakes are easily detectable, and could be classed as replica or imitation coins rather than forgeries or counterfeits.
Selling fake or replica coins as genuine would be fraud, and advertising them as genuine or in a misleading manner would contravene Advertising Standards. However both of these are very common on ebay and a few other sites. Ebay don't seem to care, they are making profits from it. The police are too busy to bother, nd the A.S.A would be overwhelmed if people compllained about a fraction of the ebay listings.
Which, a.k.a. Consumer Association might take an interest, and probably does on occasion. Sometimes Watchdog of other consumer programmes get involved, but not often, and there must be many more, bigger scams going on.
Sites like TSF do their bit, but otherwise we seem to be stuck with ebay and all the scumbags on it. (Apologies to the few decent people who still use it. Oh, and by the way, Amazon is not much better.

Nice to hear some who's done what I'm currently doing, I over pay on my mortgage every month and aiming for it to be done by 40 "Currently 35" and be fully retired by 55.
I currently have savings for both my kids so when they get to uni or want to buy a house they wont have to worry about the fee's/deposit - again trying to set them up for a good future but I also show them the gold/silver I buy and why before it goes into the safe.
I think education on all aspects of life is vital and unfortunately most of us learn far to late in life to benefit from the knowledge "Myself included".
I'll stop talking c**p now HAHAHAHA

So many people get ripped off with these house clearance scams.

Even I bought one at the start of my coin collecting, but i cancelled the order when I came to my senses.

It depends, if you're specifically looking for nice crowns etc you might get some coming up at large % premiums. I tend to buy bulk lots 2+ kgs at a time and usually pay spot at most, haven't looked on ebay. Keep an eye on the forum and other sites, another dealer that advertises bulk lots for sale is https://www.malcolmelliscoins.co.uk/investment-silver-lots-for-sale.html  (I have not bought from them though has anyone on the forum dealt with them?)

What did you expect from someone called:
The Con Man Robin (Bastard) Joy 😎 Seriously, he has 18 broadly similar listings, all sprinkled with otherwise valuable restrike fakes conspicuously on the top as sucker bait. He even states the wrong date for one of his fakes. In this listing 384625029738, he says there is a 1903 KING Edward Sovereign, but the photo shows a 1905! Most of his fakes can be bought from China for about £2 each including postage, or less in bulk (usually 50 pieces).
