A couple of small pieces Gothic gold from Alderney - a £5 in 24 carat gold and a quarter sovereign in 22 carat gold (full details lower down).
Because of the size of the coins I found it difficult to photograph them so a publicity picture of the £5 is included at the bottom.
I am resigned to not being able to get / afford the forthcoming Gothic gold from the Royal Mint so I am quite happy with these.
 

Today I received this 2021 1/4oz silver Britannia along with the 1914 half sovereign and a 2021 1/10oz platinum Britannia

A fascinating thread here. I think the thing I respect the most from @LawrenceChardis the certainty that what I am buying is legit. I like the fact you are experts at certifying sovereigns. Worth a premium!

Yes 😭 Happened overnight.
Possibly related to something I heard in there on my last collection a couple of months ago, not long before it all changed.
I didn't quite get all of the conversation but something along the lines of they had appeared on some kind of TV show and the next day website traffic was through the roof and phones ringing off the hook etc.
I used to like ordering bits into free storage and then collecting when in the area to avoid delivery.

I bought around 10 best value sovereigns from atkinsons earlier in the year and i couldn’t rate them any higher, the customer service was excellent, the prices were the most competitive and I was rather pleased to receive all high quality gillicks. 
I’ve bought from most major dealers, all without problem but atkinsons stands out to me. (My opinion and experience)
