  1. Thanks for all your advice guys. I have managed to cancelled the purchase. Would never have been sure about the coin and would not have wanted it in my collection. I will be more careful in future!
  2. Thanks for sending through.. Very interesting read. It helps with the coin sizes, as the Kushan coins used the same roman sizes of dinars. This makes me again think the coin is fake as it would not fit any dinar or fractional dinar size?
  3. Also another coin for sale:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154761889479?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=154761889479&targetid=&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045025&poi=&campaignid=16789290710&mkgroupid=&rlsatarget=&abcId=9300845&merchantid=6995734&gclid=Cj0KCQjw37iTBhCWARIsACBt1IzD4IFtooBHLJ7RiSCU7Q95FkMGrdo0QU8rdXXrIwv4y_uIdlmuHn4aAutNEALw_wcB
  4. Hi Thanks for sending link, I had seen this ad. This is another coin for sale. The certificate of authenticity looks questionable also. The QR code takes you to WECHAT.
  5. Hi Everybody, I might have made a wrong bid on a coin. The coin is supposed to be a circa 300AD Kushan gold coin. It is 1.6mm in diameter and weighs 2.8 grams and 22ct gold. (no thickness given) I don't have any side pictures. Doing some research, I think the ruler is King Havishka. (AD 12 -190). From Wikipedia : "In the coinage of the North Indian and Central Asian Kushan Empire (approximately 30–375 CE) the main coins issued were gold, weighing 7.9 grams, and base metal issues of various weights between 12 g and 1.5 g. Little silver coinage was issued, but in later periods the gold used was debased with silver." So I'm thinking the coin is fake as the gold coins are larger at circa 7.8 grams? Can anybody help? Any thoughts / views will be helpful. Thanks Barry
