  6. Hi @Jay2 my experience is very limited. but my auction seems to have worked out fine. I posted coin yesterday. I used template (made by site host ChrisSilver ) and then tweaked it slightly for my auction. Seems good. And you have to pick from selling to UK and/or other regions, and pick whether you are selling bullion or graded collectibles etc. If you have more specific questions I will try to help but you might be better asking a more experienced user. Good luck mate. regards, P
  7. Auction seems to have petered out now, so I shall end it early ( and no-one has objected ). Auction will and at 5.59 pm today (Sunday) Regards, P

  9. Hi @Fenlander1, thank you for your question, due the the free postage at my personal cost and considering this is not an insured service, therefore all risk would then be on me as the seller, I have to decline with thanks. I can assure you I will post the coin unequivocally and if you want to upgrade to fully insured special delivery at cost to you, then I will certainly post first. Thank you for your bid.
  10. Update - Thanks everyone for their help. Next time I will consider shorter auction, but for this one I'd like to let it play out - at least for a few days more, which will allow non-premium members a look in too.

  12. That anyone would have the nerve to behave with such arrogant contempt is incredible. I am always saying this nowadays but "This stupid country!"
  13. Hi folks, Re the royal mail definition of valuables (money and jewellery) -> Any item that is: i) precious metal that has been manufactured in such a way as to add value to it, including coins used for ornament; ... I interpret that to include silver bullion coins, but do people think it includes circulated ex currency? e.g. .900 silver US Peace silver dollars say.
  14. Thanks @Ryan and everyone for the very helpful info. (and many amusing stories!) Will it also be ok to post a gold coin to Northern Ireland from mainland UK?
  15. Hello all, Does anyone know if there are any difficulties in shipping (silver) to Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK? I am thinking of selling some silver (silverforum) within United Kingdom, but concerned about any difficulties (extra tax etc) that buyers in NI might face because of the "Northern Ireland Protocol" (EU trade barriers between N.I. and rest of UK) If anyone knows or has experience(of current/recent situation) please can they share. Thanks and regards, PenguinUK
