The mintage for the 2oz gold plain edge is 125. However, there is zero chance of purchasing it on Monday. It has already been allocated to those in Mint Marque who have platinum plus status. There is none made available to the general public.

They have all been allocated so the members will likely already know what they are getting.

This is how I feel. I bought the Alderney version and shared pictures of the original against the Alderney release. Repeated below.
This is the first in the GE series where the original coin is actually available to people who don’t have £100k plus to spend on coins. A good example can be found for £6-25k. I realise this still represents a lot of money but from an investment perspective (and this is not financial advice) it makes perfect sense; at least to me!

Ooh I wouldn’t ship it either. I’m in London and took a trip down to Paris just to deliver it in person at PCGS.
The rep who accepted the coin said, “oh wow, an Una.....” and then roughly dumped it out of the capsule onto the pad on his table. He then picked up the coin with his bare hands, no gloves. I nearly had a heart attack...

June 16 a raw una and the lion gold 2oz sold for £39700 @ warwick and warwick Auctioneers
I think the 3G gold 2oz sold yesterday for £15800 is an outlier. Someone got a bargain in my view

Re my last message on this thread. I just checked my order page and it now says ‘750’! So a mintage of 750 is now clarified for the 2oz Silver Proof.

The 2oz gold is all sold out. I’m not sure if they went to trade or Mint Marque members at the Royal Mint. None have popped up on the secondary market either. It will be a sweet coin to add to any collection!

The extended range is the larger gold denominations, i.e. 2oz, 5oz, 10oz, etc.

That isn't available for purchase yet, coming soon!

Mintage seems a bit high on the 2oz gold in comparison to previous releases.

    1500 is a good price!

The last 6 or so 2oz Silvers on ebay all went 1800+ and 4 of them for 2.2-2.5k. value is a funny thing though as some coins seem to go through phases where ebay is cheaper and auctions are more and vice versa.

I asked yesterday afternoon over email. My AM usually replies a few days after I ask questions and that works well for me so I won’t chase. I will update when I hear back. I have a feeling they may not be able to say as it could be the usual commercial sensitive issue.

    @Altitudes
These unusual proof sizes were also selectively available in the US market. BOLD precious metals had 15 of the 2oz silver proofs for sale, and I happened to take a screenshot from May 2nd. APMEX currently has a 10oz gold proof for sale at an enormous premium, and the mintage of this coin is 30.  I like to take these screenshots for reference prices, as the dealers remove them after they sell.

The releases for the two coins were very different. Una was released with no real fan fare and took a couple days to sell out. 3G was released to the largest demand I think there has been for a RM release I've been around for. As a result of this the Una's I suspect were largely picked up by collectors and disappeared into those collections with few examples coming to the secondary market. In contrast I suspect the vast majority of 3G were bought by people hoping to cash in the way a select few managed with the Una. At the moment you're just seeing the result of that. When you have a coin that was bought up primarily to be flipped once those go to market in the numbers they have there is only one way the price is going to head. It is possible the price will increase over time as the current surplus is bought up but we've yet to find a bottom price (actually saw a PF70 sell for £1500 on a FB group earlier) so there is a ways to go down yet before any rise happens.

Another issue the 3G coin faces is dilution. The mintage was higher and I'm sure the RM minted more varities (sizes) of it. There were also other mints that put out really high quality versions. While I expect the RM version will be the definitive version you'll always have some people who will now settle for one of the others so that takes away from the pool of people who might have been after a RM version lessening the demand. I really don't imagine the 3G will ever be as valuable as the Una is.

Has anyone noticed on online flippers are slashing their prices to offload the 2oz even in pf70
Its weird as they are devaluing it by the day
The good thing is as long as its worth the mint purchase price I don't care too much
Flippers are killing this coin that's for sure

Nice arrivals, firstly I have to admire my youngest sons tenacity in keeping up the momentum of collecting the 10oz Beasts, the latest arriving from Chards, he only has the Greyhound to go 👍
And I am extremely grateful to @SilverMike for him being so kind to pass on to me the 5oz Queen's Beasts Proof Completer coin for the issue price.
Out of all the recent modern coins the Royal Mint have released, this is my absolute favourite and I was so disappointed when it sat tantalisingly in my basket on release day, only to see it disappear when the RM's payment system crapped out, thank you so much again Mike 😃
the 1oz and 5oz Little and Large look fabulous together 👍  And below there's 10 reasons why this well thought out coin design will remain perennially popular  😉

Nice addition to the NGC collection. Whilst I am a confirmed PCGS geek, the occasional NGC does appeal.
