It does seem the increase in spot isnt really being factored in properly yet on here. When spot was  at £18, it'll cost you £22-25 for a brit and other major coins. Spot at 22.50 and a coin will still cost £23-25

Why? Do you not believe in gold? ( surely you don't think £1900 ish is the top? Surely you believe it will eventually go higher?

Just doing some rough calculations on estimates for total silver mined plus total theoretical silver left to be mined at a price of £24 oz comes to just over £1.5 trillion(2mx32000x24) tonnes x oz per tonne x price per oz , with a current silver market cap of £1.3 trillion very rough estimates I would think from a quick Google on past and possibly future predictions, with 1.5 million tonnes mined and 550,000 tonnes left to mine so at £24 oz all silver ever mined would be £1.15 trillion(1.5mx32kx24) - it makes me think there may be some room for upward movement, it's also worth noting, although maybe not believing like most figures as it certainly seems high, that some researchers believe 90% of all silver mined has been lost to landfill / industrial use, and with say 250 paper silver oz for every physical one, it would make physical ownership possibly not a bad shout, keep stacking 🙂

Are we keeping an eye on dealer prices?
A tube of 2023 QEII brits from RM is currently £960 give or take and out of stock
The cheapest silver coin at RM is roughly £37 inc VAT at current prices (2024 KCIII)
    A 10oz Britannia bar is £365
At BBP the prices are similar
Atkinsons are a bit more reasonable at around £34.50 for the same coin (2024 KCIII)
Chards and Tavex are bargains in comparison with £31.20 at Chards and £31.45 at Tavex (2024 KCIII)
For things like older year ASEs the prices have officially hit the moon at £50+
I wonder if people are actually buying at these prices, they make eBay look cheap

    Completely disagree
In 1965 I spent half my first months wages on four gold sovereigns costing £16 in total
I still have those four to this day worth around £1800 in total
So is a starting wage today £3600 per month?
Gold is indeed a reliable long term store on value

I reckon it will go straight to 1950 by monday afternoon. By mid wednesday afternoon we could see it break over £2000. With everything going on I cannot see it slow down. Lot's of stackers will be adjusting their approach this year. Even aiming for x1 full gold sovereign might end up being unaffordable per a month.

If we don't go up on Monday it's a disaster for gold IMHO
The above from Dominic Frisby is interesting but I might disagree about some of the finer points. The western exchanges have become decoupled from the Asia-Pacific and non-western systems. I'm not sure the western paper markets are still the primary driving force behind global gold prices (they still dominate western markets). We will find out on Monday whether the tail (paper) is wagging the dog (physical) or vice-versa. For sure if gold dips on Monday it will be the most negative signal for gold I've witnessed as a stacker.
The crypto market is a different beast. Apart from being a different asset class (100% digital, risk-ON) there's the ETF action which most believe has decoupled the halving cycle from the historical price action. The smart money is suggesting the price action in BTC has been front loaded by the ETFs and that BTC will actually dip after the halving, taking an early indicator from BTC cash (a different asset to BTC) as a precursor to what will happen with BTC. The strength or lack thereof in BTC drives the entire crypto market so an expectation that BTC will dip will cut the legs off the rest of the crypto market, with the wider crypto market being more volatile than BTC itself. That is precisely what we witnessed this weekend

Totally. But silver is really cheap, so right now, if I was buying, I would probably get a bit of silver. But gold will always be the daddy and No.1

So sorry if this isn't the right place to list this item, but have no clue where else to, so please let me know.
I bought this brand new from this forum, with the intention of testing everything I bought, I tested what I have (once) and it works a treat (and none of you ripped me off 👀🤣) but a change in circumstances forces sale 😔.
It has everything from new, used once, British plug.
Seems like they go for £1,200 on eBay so can we go £1100 900? which includes RMSD to your door, ready to go.
I could include photos but it is literally brand new what you would get from https://www.sigmametalytics.com/product-page/pmv-original-basic-set
I would like to add, to the person I bought this from, who seems to get them from the states for us all here (which is great), I never intended to re-sell and it has been over a year since purchase, I just didn't want it to seem like I am buying to sell on, this is a genuine reason for sale, not sure it was necessary to explain but just for transparency.
Great machine which seems like a necessity to me if you buy precious metals from different sources.
    Cheers guys 👍

With prices hitting ATH pretty much every other day, have you thought about a cut off point?
Me personally, I’m still gonna stick with the plan of at least a sovereign or 1/4 oz a month till retirement and then cash out that Sovereign or quarter per month to help out when the pension isn’t enough to cover my planned life style of slow cars and fast women!!
