Last sovereign 1965 received today ( actually a couple days ago, but let's pretend it's today )for the set of ten Gillick years.

Happy, got my hands on a 1997 Britannia set, means getting ever closer to completing my 1oz Brit date run, now just missing 1999, 2000, 2010

Congratulations on your first piece. I still remember mine, not because it was anything spectacular..but because I dropped it and put a big dent in it lol 😆 🤣 

Jumped on the BBP Half Sov sale train, and picked up my first bit of gold! Really happy with it, and although it's quite an adjustment from 10oz silver coins, the detail is very impressive for such a small coin.

I used a potato to photograph this so it's doing the coin no favours. Received this morning and personally feel it might be undergraded.

Today I received a generous gift, and got to pick 5 1oz silver coins. I went for a mix of coins I haven't owned before and am very happy with them. Nice to see some of these coins in hand finally, even the Canadian Charles III effigy looks better than the renders. A bit of milk of course from the RM coin 😂
