However... I'm delighted to confirm our current platinum stock is technically pre-owned (even though it's brand new) and therefore doesn't have VAT on it. It's very keenly priced, an ideal Pt investment.

Received another quarter ounce platinum proof from @BritanniaCoinCompany. 2018 Princes Charles 70th Birthday edition. I got it because its low mintage (650) and was good value compared to RM's prices. I suppose it'll help having to get used to his mug on a lot of coins at some point in the future (no offence intended to Her Maj 😊).

On the way back from a 350 mile unplanned round trip to Milton Keynes, (don't ask 🙄), I popped into Royal Wootton Bassett, and visited @BritanniaCoinCompany in their shop. Came away with 2 nice sovs. 1929 SA, and a 1900.
Nice friendly staff as usual, never got a chance to have a look around the shop though, as I still had a couple of hours driving to do.
