Right then, I think I've cracked it. Have tried a few different styles, but this is the best.
Original first followed by the latest version

No it's a CO2.  X700 clone from China.  Worked remarkably well - had to have the wiring checked before use of course but all was good.
No room following a move so no longer have it.  I do miss it!
Yes...this 320mm 2017 wooden Britannia has been in Chards window display for a few years now

That's a fibre laser and would cost about £7000 for one like that. A hell of a lot of coaster would have to be made to get that back!
I hope Lawrence ok'ed the use of that picture 😂

Without doubt IMO, given their non current issue sovs, their selection/s of anything remotely old have outrageous premiums in most cases.

Yeah I imagine you're correct there.
I bought a tube once, but then it vanished when my alarm clock went off, so I can't check mine. 😅

Bloody collectors, one minute they are crying to everyone that their latest purchase has a tiny speck on at x1000, magnification, next minute they are drooling over a dog of an error bullion coin. Send the bugger back to the mint, get a proper yin😄👍

Ahhh cr#p, my bad. Your right mate. Thought it had a face on the other side but looking back it’s dragons both sides. Sorry. Amazing find.

I see, nice find. That is one error sov I wouldn't mind being sent by accident. 🙂

Can I cash in some of my several Lawrence-issued beer tokens and other reports of website issues to secure this error coin at a great price? 😀
I don't think it even needs a letter of authenticity - this type of error speaks for itself.

    I disagree.
Brockage errors happen not only on gold and silver coins, but standard circulation coins.  Even going back to the times of Victoria.  They are surprising common in circulation coins (because of the volume).
Errors happen - and on the forum we have seen die alignment errors identified by and sold by an individual (albeit via an intermediary). Plus other errors one of which I purchased.
I am not sure the illuminati exist outside of conspiracy theories, and there is an open market to buy rarities if you don’t find one in an order.
    Tin foil hats on!
