That’s something extra that could work definitely, but it’s usually someone comes in pretty new and for whatever reason someone gets caught out. We are all susceptible to it. I know I am. I’ve been scammed on other sites so I tend not to use them for that reason. So should we all suddenly not use the forum because certain people can’t be honest for deals and transactions? If I’m asking the management to take more details from me to show I’m honest I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more subscription wise to pay for that if a few pounds a month etc made that possible. Would that work? Paying to be potentially scammed seems like it’s not solving a problem we all face for being honest. If that makes sense?

We’re relying on each other’s honesty to keep the forum what it is. If people aren’t happy to be honest about dealing with potentially thousands of others hard earned money etc then we all suffer. Is it to much to ask about being transparent if things potentially go wrong? Just so things can be sorted in a way that we know we’ve helped each other out? Just saying. It’s how I work in business.

I’m happy to provide anything I can to the management of the forum to show that I’m honest and trustworthy. Just incase there is an issue with transactions etc.

The thing with that is the scammer still takes what is lost and we pay for it? Could we not have something where funds are held until the items have arrived like a third party idea? Possibly a deposit style?

Is there nothing the forum management can do to help being a buyer/seller as in regardless of just selling platinum members giving addresses? When I come to sell on here being honest I don’t mind giving my full address details to the forum managers to be able to sell on here? Would that not help the community to weed out unsavoury characters just out for a fast pound? We’re all easy targets so maybe any membership should come with some sort of proof? Would that be too hard or cost too much for the forum owners? Genuinely interested and not trying to make the forum management liable for everything. 👍

Unfortunately nothing happens to the scammer and it will just go through insurance with the bank. That we all pay to the bank anyway. 😵‍💫
