The Newfoundland 2-dollar coin was issued in intermittent years between 1865 and 1888. It was the only circulation gold coin issued by a British colony. Although few coins were issued, it was broadly used in Newfoundland and eastern Canada. The coin became scarce in 1894 because of hoarding following the collapse of Newfoundland's banks and monetary system.

This old chunky monkey arrived today. Not gonna win any beauty contests as it’s got some toning around the edge but a nice piece all the same (and a quick way to add 10oz to the stack!).
Capsule is shot so I’m after a new one if anyone has a spare one (wanted ad going up later)

Californian gold rush nugget retrieved from the ss Central America which sank in 1857 with 9 tons of gold on board,
very tiny nugget with a huge premium but it’s worth it in my eyes,

I'm absolutely over the moon with this wonderful addition to my Crown collection- the Crown tray in my Cabinet is filling up 😃

I've been bitten quiet a few times on the stocks (granted they were a bit risky) but am extremely cautious moving forward (I don't do it). I've seen success stories on here but not many people share their losses. It's just something I am pondering at the moment.

My only advice on stacking (regardless of which PM) is that you look after your daily/monthly/annual needs first.  There's no point buying and stacking PM if you hit a financial road bump, and then forced to sell the metal at a loss.   So this means taking care of rent/mortgage/utilities/retirement plan/health plan/etc first.   And then have enough cash savings on hand in the bank - just in case you get laid off from work, and you need cash to pay your bills.   So anywhere from 3-6 months of your salary.   Then if you got any extra money left, you can then consider buying some silver or gold.   Good luck!

If you have the spare Fiat....Buy,buy,buy.... now is a great opportunity to buy both at a low price... stack and invest..not for flipping but for the long term....look at the prices @LawrenceChard the cheapest prices I've seen out of all the major dealers✔✔ if you have the spare fiat..now is the time to 'Buy'....of course by Monday prices could change... could be higher/lower but pm's are at a great price now,take the advantage of low prices and invest what your budget will allows...1,5,10 oz's don't spend more than you can afford.. dont get into debt,don't use credit cards.....but if you have spare cash..invest now....because prices will be going up..maybe not this year but certainly next year..dont miss this dip opportunity....you will be wishing you hadn't bought now..this time next year! Speculate to accumulate is the motto..

I’m fairly new to stacking precious metals. I only started this year (2021). 
I’ve just reached my target of 100oz of silver & my question is…
Is this enough or should I continue to add each year? My plan was to reach 100oz and then lock it all away and sit back.

What a belter that 1818 crown is.  A complete world away from my 1820, which I still love as a piece of history 😄
