yes, not bad at all...it’s getting more and more difficult to buy metals in UK at good price, I am happy with paying tax as long as I will get a good deal first. 😃🤙

Never sent precious metals to the UK before, nor have I heard of NR Post before, but the numerous of other things that I have sent from here in the Netherlands to the UK, I have simply yet always successfully sent with PostNL; https://www.postnl.nl/tarieven/Pakket/GB/2-5kg

Having said that, you can insure up to 5500 euros worth of goods this way. Not sure if this will cover all of the contents in your 3 kg box?

Thanks to the interwebs more people are savvy to silver/old coins and the potential for profit. Just look at all the 'big ask' starting bids for rubbed smooth 50% coins on diseaseBay.  It's still worth looking for the odd Doris that's had an attic clear out and no desire to research the worth of their haul but they will be the exception these days.
Plus if there's a regular spot that someone has happened across getting them to share the location would quite a feat in most cases 😁

You do get some people who sell just silver coins/items but they know what they have and what the value is and can spot a sucker a mile off.
