Haha, have you read 1984, it isn't fiction anymore but probably still in that library category, if they didn't vaporize it.
How can you change the world for the better? Each will have their gifts and the question is our alone to ask oneself, so you tell me.
Some have made great inventions that improved the quality of life. Some have made personal sacrifices to the benefit of their fellow man, such as soldiers etc.
But the problem is there is no real just war left worth fighting if there ever has been that I can think of, other than stopping the evils of totalitarian communism, which has been bought on by endless propaganda by media, the deliberate confusion of the information age, materialism, consumerism, and technocratic socialism age. It's demonic and it's cancelling traditions and culture at such an astonishing rate, with nothing of value to replace it with but bogus demonic science.

in a nutshell the best I can come up with is start with yourself, don't think like they want you to. Be an individual, find the truth and don't be afraid to tell it instead of going for popularity or the acceptance of peers etc, and vote with your $. Most of all Trust, Pray and Obey the simple Commandments and Statutes of God, as best as you can. But that's where the arguments and disagreements start and I'm not looking for that. But seeing as you asked that's my opinion. The rest is choice and freewill. It's one crazy world

Yes, in my opinion, dare I say, everything has been weaponized against we the people who have a basic inherent right to prosper and live free from slavery/usury.
The war of words is poisoning many minds who cant see the implications or how they are manipulated to an end that doesn't suit their short or long term interests. Double Speak is everywhere.

I've come to see that nothing in the world is by a completely natural occurrence or means, except for nature where un-corrupted or unpolluted, in other words everything is controlled by a hidden hand for a hidden purpose or agenda that you pay for and are coerced deceptively to be part of but are not privy to the truth, unless you can figure it out for yourself. As an aside, I think that's why a lot of us were attracted to silver. I basically trust a 180 deg flip of what spin narrative were fed in the mainstream is more likely the truth.

False balances are more popular than ever, and so are corporate and global government/currency/reset/green new BS deals etc. and excused with bogus agendas like Covid to kick it off, eg. The magic word to be a cover for any nonsense not normally acceptable, and quacks and scientists lost every idea about morality look at CERN and their new particle beam that they are sending into space WTF, these vaccine forcing and spin doctoring going on in mind boggling and in every country, they are all in on this agenda and whatever you believe I bet you see the motives are not good and based on control.

The world has become a mess and 2001 was the major turning point, things looking forward from here 2021 don't look pretty, we must remain hopeful but do what we can to bring change that actually suits the people. The Silver Squeeze Redit group for example has made waves and this is a great example at how we can unite together for a cause.
We will lose more rights if we do nothing. And what gives in the end, I believe evil will destroy evil, but a huge toll will be paid for our iniquities for being misled and giving our posterity away for a bowl of porridge today, like the historical story of Esau.

We all play a part in the emerging world and we all have an opportunity to make it a better place for those who come after us. Thank you too for your angle ScentSation

Personally I don’t know anyone else who collects gold so I’m interested to learn how other people got started, their motivations and what it means to them. What’s your story?

    I'll start with my own.

My initial fascination with gold started when I was a kid. Like many households we always had an Argos or Index catalogue lying around that I would flick through when I was bored. As you would expect I spent a lot of time looking at all the toys but it was the jewellery section that really caught my eye. I liked all the birthstones and gems but my favourite pages were near the end of the jewellery section, it was all the gold chains. I used to sit and stare at the weights, purity and price of them for a reason I can’t fathom even to this day. The first piece of gold ever bought for me was by my mother when I got my ear pierced. I got a 9ct gold stud and hoop. A few years later after a fair amount of begging at shop windows she bought me a half sovereign ring and my brother a full sovereign. They were either lost or sold I guess and my gold story goes cold for a decade.

The financial crisis and great recession was my induction into the world of economics. I remember watching the TV as the queues formed outside Northern Rock and then like dominos the banks started to collapse. The government started QE and the bailouts commenced. What caused it? Where did this money come from? Who was going to pay it back? Pandora’s Box was open and my studies began. All the cash for gold shops appeared on the high street as the price took off - gold was more than just jewellery - gold shone bright once again. I seriously considered buying my first gold during this period but never followed through although my faith in the financial system was gone never to return. In the following years new terms and trends emerged. Help to buy, 0% finance, balance transfer credit cards, PCP car loans, early pension drawdowns and negative interest rates. I reasoned this was totally unsustainable, can only end in pain and it was time to prepare. I cleared all my debts then began living well within my means and saving in earnest. I knew what I had to do.

I bought my first gold from the Royal Mint. Three and a half ounces of pure gold were delivered by post the next day. When I opened the parcel and held the coins in my hands I was taken aback by the density, the purity, the colour. It was outside the financial system, untaxable, free from manipulation. It was perfect. It was that day I became a goldbug.

I’ve accumulated more incrementally and now it amounts to around half of my total assets. I’ve learned more about golds history as money and its universal appeal across ages and continents. I still don’t fully understand our love of gold which seems irrational but so is much of what we do. Gold is many things to many people but I view gold as the perfect way to store time. Immutable from government policy and excess in perfect parallel to its physical properties. I don’t care too much about price fluctuations because in the long run I’m as certain as I can be that gold will serve that purpose. During times like these it brings me comfort to know that I own gold and I’m sure I always will.

Wonger points to the concentration of shorts in the hands of the usual suspects - that they always win.
Today a LBMA market maker hit the buffers due to shorts in the OTC market. It is suspected this is UBS that is in trouble. They are in trouble due to their shorts.
Miners and closing - refiners are closing - there is a shortage in the retail market - interest in gold and silver is ramping up - interest in holding physical. There is no Brown's Bottom to bail them out it is simply more paper but the rush is into physical.
When Wonger started his silver thread he made out silver would go to $4 - it didn't. The situation in favour of price rising is even stronger.
Wonger says he has been short today - he is underwater. Perhaps JMP and Goldmans will throw him a lifeline.
