  4. Hi all, I am new to this forum, but have been a member of the goldrefiningforum for a number of years. I many have been refining silver scrap and buying silver coins with the proceeds. I now do very little refining of silver due to the expense of the chemicals and high silver premiums. I now just refine scrap gold karat jewelry. I have been buying old 90% silver 5 and 10 Lirot Israel coins lately. Thanks for having me, Tom
