  1. yes same in here, premiums are ridiculously high at the moment
  2. Hello everyone, I am watching the prices of silver coins over last few week. I have noticed that spot price for silver went slightly up £12.8/ oz. However the price of 1 oz Silver Kangaroo 2020 is lower than few weeks before and cost now £17. 44 ( https://goldsilver.be/en/146-coins) Is it a sign of high demand storm passing over and premiums will go down?
  3. Many thanks for your comment @Bimetallic I am just wondering if the economy is reopen, the premium will go down but what about silver demand in technology? Will the price drop because of premium goes down in coin price? Or maybe the price of coins will be this same level or even higher because of silver price will go up?
  4. Obviously all things you mentioned above are important and have significant impact on prices. But more impacts you consider, more confusion is created.
  5. thanks for sharing this, I am interested in 1oz maybe 100g only. 1kg is too big but it is just my preferences good luck!
  6. Boris Johnson set to reveal his “roadmap” out of lockdown on Sunday, check it at https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/live-possible-post-lockdown-workplace-rules-emerge-as-british-scientists-unveil-998percent-accurate-covid-19-antibody-test/ar-BB13yE0m?ocid=spartanntp Hopefully the price will go down sooner than later. Which bars are at the best value?

  8. I am not too sure about average price for 1kg silver bar. However, you can check https://www.bairdmint.com/silver/silver-bars as they are around £500
  9. Hello Pyperb, yes that's correct supply shortage means price going up. Are there any signs on the market suggesting that silver premium will go down?
  10. Many thanks FullMetalJacket for quick explanation. Yes, the chart XAG/GBP shows £12 per 1 oz of silver. Considering the fact of silver coins being more expensive than bars I thought its a normal price... Any idea of how long we might wait for the silver premium to go down?
  11. Hello guys, Does anyone know how much premium we pay for 1oz Britannia silver coin at the moment in the UK? I found the cheapest 1 oz Britannia sliver coin at https://www.bairdmint.com/silver/silver-coins. However, I am not too sure how much premium increased for that coin since the Covid-19 outbreak? I am trying to make a decision for my first purchase between 250-300 coins. Please feel free to type down any suggestions and/or advices. I am super new to silver market and I really don't want to overpay because of high premiums. Thanks guys!
  12. The sheet from @bimetalic shows a lot about premiums and current prices. Also thank you for quick summary of past prices which also tell me a lot about current situation on the market! Hopefully premiums will go down soon after panic buying will end up.
  13. Thank you for proper explanation and very quick reply Liam84! I am very interested in buying coins rather than bars. Do you know examples of coins which are cheaper in Europe than the UK? I am really new in silver world, maybe it is a silly question but how much people paid for 1 oz Britannica coin in past? Was it much cheaper than £19-20?
  14. Thank you for clarification. It is still cheaper than 1oz Silver Britannia bought from Europe. Do you know lower price for 1oz Silver Britannia coin than Bairds £19.17 incl delivery and VAT?
